David Israeli is an actor and filmmaker hailing from Queens, New York. He graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2016 with a BFA in Film & Television with a focus on directing and screenwriting.
David spent his years post-NYU working in film and production both in the United States and abroad. He has helped produce films in Myanmar, worked on documentary projects that spanned over 20 countries, and created short films here in NYC. His next film, Lev’s Barbershop, Unisex, is set to premiere in the spring of 2025!
As an actor, David has most recently appeared in DRAMA - an aural experience (Apple Podcasts, AKS Immersive), Hand to God (Nutley Little Theatre), The Oresteia (Gallery Players), Picasso at the Lapin Agile (CityGate Productions) and Zannis All the Way Down (PIT Loft).
Today, you can find him clowning with the Department of Fools (come check out our next show at The PIT!) and performing across the city!
David is a member of Actors’ Equity and is represented theatrically by Affinity Artists and commercially by Wild Models.
